Jackson Cross Partners, LLC (JCP) has arranged a $2.5M purchase deal for Williams Form Engineering Corp. (WFE) on a 30,000 SF build-to-suit project on 3 Acres at the Iron Bridge Business Park in Collegeville, PA. The site will become home to the company’s new state-of-the-art production and distribution facility.
WFE currently operates its North East production and distribution facility out of the Phoenixville, PA plant which has been home to the company for the past twelve years. “A year ago we decided to look for a new facility because we needed more space to create better efficiency in the delivery of our product. Our new facility will house two crane ways to help maneuver and fabricate product and will allow WFE to deliver our construction material with more efficiency to our North East customers” stated John Lohmeyer, WFE Area Manager.
Nick Adams of Jackson Cross partners represented Williams Form Engineering Corp. in this purchase. Adams began working with WFE in the Spring of 2011. “John’s space requirements were very specific: 60 foot-wide clear span production facility with cranes to help maneuver WFE’s large metal forming products within a ten mile radius of the company’s current facility,” said Adams. “After a review of the market our focus shifted toward locating industrial ground to construct a new building to meet WFE’s needs” added Adams. The search led the duo to the Iron Bridge Business Park in Collegeville, PA – an industrial Park owned and developed by Gorski Engineering.
After several meetings to discuss the building design and layout, an agreement was reached between Williams Form Engineering Corp. and Gorski Development for the construction of the 30,000 SF building. Gorski Development will begin construction of the facility this September with plans of completing the project for move-in by January 2013.
